For over two years, the Cleveland Browns have needed to see if quarterback Deshaun Watson might develop into the man that leads this group on a deep playoff run and the franchise’s first-ever Tremendous Bowl look.

Obstacles proceed to pop up, preserving Cleveland from making that important analysis.

In 2022, an unexpected suspension prohibited Watson from taking part in within the group’s first 11 contests.

Final 12 months, accidents sidelined Watson after he performed components of six video games over the primary three months of the season.

And this 12 months, accidents to the offensive line which have sidelined a number of starters – some courting again to final season – confound the Browns and its fanbase from figuring out if Watson is their man.

Analyst Matt Fontana is among the many people who imagine Watson’s poor efficiency in opposition to the New York Giants deserves a cross as he was unable to indicate any measure of his skills with the makeshift offensive line (through X).

“That’s what is so irritating,” Fontana stated, including, “All I needed, and I possibly I simply thought it was going to occur, is that I might get an sincere run of an analysis with out all of this different crap.”

The feedback sparked a fierce debate between Fontana and the present’s producer Ryan Tyler.

Tyler requested Fontana what it could take for the present’s titular host of the “Matt Fontana Present” to judge Watson.

Fontana defined that it was unimaginable for him – and the group’s coaches – to judge his play behind the porous offensive line and created one other scapegoat for the group guilty for Watson’s poor play.
