Chairman of Ghana’s Parliamentary Choose Committee for Youth, Sports activities and Tourism, Knowledge Kobena Woyome has lamented the state of the Baba Yara Sports activities Stadium.
The Stadium has misplaced its approval from CAF to host worldwide matches because of numerous points together with the poor nature of the pitch.
The Stadium has now been closed for renovation works.
The renovations works this 12 months means the Baba Yara Sports activities Stadium has undergone 5 renovations within the final 5 years.
Chatting with ChannelOne Sports activities, Knowledge Kobena Woyome stated it seems the federal government solely gave monies to cronies to only go and do issues anyway in the course of the previous renovations.
He stated this is the reason the Stadium continues to be less than requirements.
