Bayern coach Kompany has hailed the impending return of Jamal Musiala, saying the 23-year-old Germany international’s ‘magic’ will be on full display soon.
Musiala sustained a fibula fracture with a broken and dislocated ankle following a collision with then-Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma at the Club World Cup last July.
Key moments
According to Sportstar, Musiala’s return is a significant boost for Bayern, who have been struggling with injuries to key players.
Kompany said, ‘Jamal is a very important player for us, and his return will give us a lot of confidence.’
Reaction
The Bayern coach believes Musiala’s unique skillset will make a big impact on the team.
‘He has a special ability to make things happen on the pitch, and his magic will be on full display soon,’ Kompany said.
